Little Joys Snail Mail Club

So what is all this snail mailing about? The Little Joys Mail Club started off as an idea I had been mulling over and finally had the push to share on my instagram. The kind words, the DM's and the overall response to the initial question of whether people would be interested in such a thing was far greater than I had anticipated. So here I am, setting out on this adventure as a way to create something joyful and inspiring that people will have the pleasure to open, keep and appreciate! You are welcome to sign up to my Little Joys Snail Mail Club over on Patreon!

What's included?

Each month, snail mail is sent from my studio in Australia all over the world. I curate a collection of sweet arty things, in the hope it inspires the recipient.

Included in the Little Joys Snail Mail Club:

• 5x7" Fine Art Print + matching swatch card
• Letter + List of Little Joys from me
• Surprise paper goods (eg cute memo sheets, stickers, washi tape etc.)

I also offer a Deluxe Tier, which includes small, original drawings made for my members and the art print being signed.

How does it work?

• Patreon is a recurring monthly subscription. You are charged when you join, then on the same date each month.

• Snail Mail will be posted around the 25th of each month. Join before the 20th to secure mail gets sent to you!

• Needless to say, everything is sent via letter mail so will be a little slow. Within Australia will take 1-2 weeks, International timeframe is around 3-5 weeks.

• Both Membership tiers include shipping costs

• Art prints included in Little Joys Snail Mail will be a mixture of new and old artworks. Art prints come signed in the Deluxe Tier only.

Feel free to contact me with any questions - I am always happy to chat! My email is hello@juliaockert.com

Why join a snail mail club?

• Combat digital fatigue - the average Aussie spends 6 hours a day looking at a phone screen (91 days per year!!). Snail mail is a way to encourage us off our phones.

• They spark creativity by encouraging analogue hobbies like junk journaling, collage, scrapbooking.

• Mindfulness. We anticipate receiving the mail and savour the act of opening something lovely that speaks to us! It also sparks an emotional response and connection with the sender.

• It's a memorable and tactile experience. Different textures, colours and scents are all part and parcel of receiving physical mail.
